This little ride was really fun, they both liked it alot. You sit back on this seat and watch this big screen in front of you and while the screen is showing a roller coaster or rail road in a coal mine going out of control, the seat vibrates and tilts and wiggles and makes you feel like you are actually on the adventure. Their facial expressions were really great!

3 Years Old

I just had to post this. Last night Kennedy was riding her bike up and down the street with no help, just pushing those peddles one after the other. She wanted to just do everything herself. "By My Self" she would say. She has turned 3 years old and matured by five years. She is certainly my sweetheart!

Great Weekend!

Here is my girl with her daddy, they hade a great weekend and ready to start all over again. My girl is growing up so fast! Everyday it seems like there is always something new. Friday she was showing me all of the s's on a box. Next she'll be teaching me algebra?

My how they grow up fast, this was last spring out at Mom and Dads.

My friend Arla told me an experience she had a couple of days ago and I thought I needed to share it. She was at Windy's drive thru in the evening (dark) and while she was waiting in line she noticed a gentlemen (averaged dressed, clean, etc.) digging thru the Akins foods dumpster. After she got her food, she was so curious that she drove back around and asked the guy if he would like $5 to get some milk to go with his food he was getting. He came to her car and said sure that would be really nice. She continued to talk to the man finding out that he had over $300's worth of food in his car from this and other dumpsters. He know just when each store gets rid of their expired food. Although it has an expired date usually the date he picks it up, packaged food is usually good for about 2-3 days more or less. He drove an old car but it was clean and he said it ran well. He takes all of this food he picks up to John 3:16 and to the Tulsa Dream Center so they can cook/distribute it immediately. He said he had been doing this for awhile and just felt like he had a car no money, but good health and that he could do something good some how. He continued to talk to my friend and offered her some of the packaged baby carrots and told her how he several flats of flowers he would give her if she wanted them. He promised to take the flowers and put them on her porch for her.

She said it was just supposed to be, because she had been down in the dumps. You see she is always seeing people doing big things for other and she didn't have anything to give, barley surviving. She was really inspired by this guy because he didn't have anything (money) to give for donations, but was feeding the hungry and helping with the food donations by picking up all of this food from stores for free. I think we are all like this at some times in our lives, feeling like who are we and what do we have to give. Well I think it's just time to look in the mirror and say God what can I do for you today, because he will help us to see ourselves differently and when that happens, we find our own special ways to help others.
